I am amazed by the number of possible uses and projects that can benefit from the new tools of Microsoft (Power Platform – Powerapps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Power Virtual Agents).
Examples:
- Move a legacy application to a modern type of application;
- Improve a business process hosted in the cloud;
- Augment or connect different applications and tools;
- Create business applications supported on mobile devices.
Four components of Power Platform
Power Apps
- It is a tool that can help us create applications to answer business needs.
- It has several controls to customize the user interface and services, which can be used for Office 365 apps, Dynamics 365 apps, SharePoint Online and even for other tools (via connectors).
Power Automate
- It is a tool for creating workflows to manage and transform data based on business rules and processes.
Power BI
- It is a tool used to create intuitive visualization of data for reports and dashboards.
- It has a free version, the Power BI Desktop.
Power Virtual Agents
- It is a tool to create chatbots without the need to code.
